Cryspen is pleased to welcome Paula Grandía as our new Head of Operations, joining the team in August 2026.

Paula brings an operations philosophy built around a simple idea: the best operational work is invisible. It clears the path so engineers and researchers can spend their time on technical work rather than administrative overhead. Over nearly four years at SandboxAQ, a quantum technology company, she grew from Engineering Operations Coordinator to Engineering Operations Associate to Chief of Staff, taking on progressively broader ownership of the systems that let a fast-scaling technical organization run smoothly. Along the way, she partnered closely with engineering and leadership teams to improve internal processes, coordinate cross-functional planning, and support the company’s strategic initiatives, picking up along the way a knack for turning ambiguous operational problems into working systems.

Paula recently completed her MBA at IE Business School, sharpening her thinking on strategy, organizational design, and how companies build the structures that let them scale without losing speed. She combines that strategic lens with hands-on operational experience spanning hiring and onboarding, budgeting and vendor management, tooling, and internal communication.

At Cryspen, Paula will own the operational backbone and help us build out our business strategy. We are thrilled to have her on the team as we transition from a consulting company to one built around a scalable, state-of-the-art formal verification product.
